How to reboot a Mac mini M1

This page shows how to reboot your Mac mini M1 from the Scaleway console. This is useful if your Mac mini M1 is not reachable, or you want to perform a remote reboot on the machine.
Security & Identity (IAM):
You may need certain IAM permissions to carry out some actions described on this page. This means:
- you are the Owner of the Scaleway Organization in which the actions will be carried out, or
- you are an IAM user of the Organization, with a policy granting you the necessary permission sets
Requirements:
- You have an account and are logged into the Scaleway console
- You have created a Mac mini M1
- Click Apple silicon in the Bare Metal section of the side menu. A list of your Mac mini M1s displays.
- Click the Mac mini M1 you want to reboot. Your Mac mini M1 Overview displays.
- Scroll down to the Reboot Mac mini M1 section, and click Reboot.
- Click Reboot Mac mini M1 to confirm.
Important:
Rebooting a Mac mini M1 is similar to pulling the electrical plug on a running computer, which can cause data corruption. To avoid data loss, make sure to save your documents before rebooting the machine.
