How to delete a folder

This page shows you how to delete a folder using the Scaleway console.
Security & Identity (IAM):
You may need certain IAM permissions to carry out some actions described on this page. This means:
- you are the Owner of the Scaleway Organization in which the actions will be carried out, or
- you are an IAM user of the Organization, with a policy granting you the necessary permission sets
Requirements:
- You have an account and are logged into the Scaleway console
- You have generated an API key and enabled the
SecretManagerFullAccesspermission set - You have created a folder
- Click Secret Manager in the Security and Identity section of the Scaleway console side menu.
Important:
Your folder must be empty to be deleted. Folders containing other folders or secrets cannot be deleted.
- Select the region in which to delete the folder, in the Region drop-down.
- Click the «Delete Icon» icon next to the folder you want to delete.
- Type DELETE to confirm and click Delete folder.
