About the company

Deepsolver develops a suite of cloud-based poker strategies with two products: Deepsolver, a real-time GTO solver and trainer based on a proprietary CFR-NN hybrid engine, which provides quick solutions, exploit analyses, and aggregate reports for No-Limit Hold'em, and PLOGenius, a 100% cloud-based tool for Pot-Limit Omaha combining a comprehensive preflop library (4 and 5 cards), an expanding postflop solver, and an interactive trainer.

Challenge

Before migrating to Scaleway, Deepsolver faced several major challenges: the need for low-latency European hosting to stay close to its users, controlling costs as real-time workloads increased significantly, maintaining reliability and security in a multi-cloud architecture, and the ability to support global traffic without requiring players to purchase expensive hardware.

With Scaleway, Deepsolver found a suitable solution: compute instances for its web application, APIs, and background tasks; managed Postgres databases to host data; and object storage for results and logs. Everything is provisioned and managed via Terraform in a consistent multi-cloud stack. Computations and training rely on dedicated L4 GPUs, while front-end hosting in Europe ensures low latency, data compliance, and a smooth experience for users around the world.

Result

Thanks to Scaleway, Deepsolver has gained speed and agility: its poker solutions are now delivered in seconds, rather than minutes, thanks to its hybrid CFR-NN approach running on L4 GPUs and distributed via the cloud. Hosting key web applications on Scaleway's European network has also significantly reduced latency for European users and improved reliability during traffic spikes. Finally, the platform generates more value from data: aggregated reports on flops and runouts, as well as exploit analyses, offer greater efficiency in player research and contribute to player retention.

Plan future

With Scaleway, Deepsolver will continue to improve real-time resolution for No-Limit Hold'em and enhance PLOGenius with comprehensive post-flop coverage (flop, turn, river), an expanded pre-flop library, and new training features, particularly on mobile devices. In terms of infrastructure, multi-cloud optimization will be enhanced and the integration of additional Scaleway managed services will be evaluated to support the platform's growth, reliability, and continuous innovation.
