Scaleway acquires Saagie to accelerate the development of a fully sovereign data and AI platform
Scaleway is announcing today that it has acquired Saagie, a French DataOps platform that provides key technologies to accelerate data & AI projects. This strategic move supports Scaleway’s vision to build a fully sovereign European platform that brings together cloud infrastructure, data, and AI under one roof.

Its technology provides a robust orchestration layer that connects key components across the data lifecycle, including data ingestion, storage, processing, machine learning, and visualisation. It also complements the company’s broader regional expansion in France, following the offices it has recently opened in Lyon, Rennes, Toulouse and Bordeaux, in addition to its historical locations in Paris and Lille.
