Who is Steamulo?

Presently, Steamulo uses Scaleway's instances to host the AutoScribe web application, benefiting from the reliability and scalability of Scaleway's cloud infrastructure. AutoScribe is a Peek into Steamulo’s and is being trialed internally at Steamulo for recording meetings, integrating with google meet or simply your device’s microphone. The project uses the open-source AI model Whisper, hosted on AWS via Hugging Face, for transcribing recorded meetings. This step is crucial for accurate data capture and analysis.

AutoScribe's ability to generate contextual summaries using the FLAN-T5 XXL model is a significant advantage. Users can tailor these summaries by modifying the prompt or regenerating new summaries, adding remarkable flexibility to the process. Scaleway’s Evolving Role in AutoScribe’s Development Current Infrastructure Presently, Steamulo uses Scaleway's instances to host the AutoScribe web application, benefiting from the reliability and scalability of Scaleway's cloud infrastructure.

How to overcome challenges

Transition to AMP2 Instances Steamulo is keenly anticipating the adoption of Scaleway's AMP2 instances for their AI models. These instances are particularly advantageous due to:

  • Enhanced Processing Power: The ARM-based processors in the AMP2 instances are well-suited for the demanding computational requirements of AI applications.
  • Optimized Memory and Storage: These instances offer scalable options that are critical for handling the extensive data associated with AI modeling.


Crucially, the AMP2 instances are expected to deliver superior performance compared to traditional GPUs, but at a fraction of the cost.
