Scaleway kickstarts a brand new era with Partner Program and Marketplace
Scaleway, the leading European cloud provider, is proud to announce the launch of two major projects that will open up its cloud ecosystem to two new galaxies: its first ever Partner Program, and the brand new Marketplace.
Whilst the Partner Program sees 20+ partners selling and delivering Scaleway’s unique cloud offering to its own clients, the Marketplace will allow merchants to bring added-value services to Scaleway’s products themselves. Both services will benefit from their own easy-to-use interfaces, thereby effortlessly expanding the Scaleway offering, making it more accessible, customized and useful to our clients than ever before.
At a time when 39% of cloud providers’ revenue comes through partners*, Scaleway officially making its products available through third parties - like Theodo Cloud, for example - via the Partner Program is a major step forwards. The ambition is to address larger European companies with end-to-end solutions that combine the highest technical expertise and advisory services. And thereby ensure their cloud and AI journeys are long-term successes. The ambition is to better serve European companies in their cloud and AI journeys, by combining the highest technical expertise and advisory services with the innovative and sovereign technologies developed by Scaleway.
The Marketplace, for its part, marks a new milestone in helping companies embrace digital transformation by equipping them with the tools and resources needed to innovate and compete globally. This new platform will offer crucial add-ons, managed by Scaleway or made by third party merchants. It is an easy-to-use platform that will ultimately offer a complete range of services (Monitoring, Security, Developer tools and more). The Marketplace will foster collaboration between numerous service providers and customers, creating a vibrant ecosystem that drives mutual growth and success. It will as such be possible, for example, to add a cybersecurity module such as Reveelium to your cloud infrastructure in just a few clicks.
So whilst representing different sides of the same coin, the Partner Program and Marketplace have several points in common:
- Both are long-term, structural projects, but with immediate positive effects on customer experience and trust
- Scaleway will prefer partners and merchants offering the best sovereign technology available today (though global market leaders will not be excluded either)
- Simplifying the cloud experience: both services will offer one-stop shops with integrated billing, quicker and easier access to required cloud solutions.
