How to modify your Dedibox server options from the Scaleway console

You can now manage resources from both the Scaleway and the Dedibox consoles. However, ordering Dedibox servers from the Scaleway console is only possible if you have added a SEPA payment method in your Dedibox console. If you do not complete this step, you can only use the Dedibox console to place orders (see the Dedibox documentation).

This guide shows you how to update your Dedibox server’s service level and options — such as storage, DDoS protection, or bandwidth — directly from the Scaleway console.

Before you start

To complete the actions presented below, you must have:

  1. Click Dedibox in the Bare Metal section of the Scaleway console side menu. The Dedibox dashboard displays.

  2. Choose the server you want to configure from the list. Click its name to display that server's information page.

  3. Scroll down to the Server options section and click Change options.

    Tip

    The public bandwidth option is available for specific Dedibox offers. For a list of compatible machines, see Additional Bandwidth for your Dedibox.

  4. Modify the service level for your Dedibox as required. Based on the service level you can customize your server with additional options, such as storage or DDoS protection.

  5. A summary of your options and configuration modifications displays. Click Save changes to validate.

    Important

    If you order a paid option, the price for the option or customization will be added to your next monthly invoice.
