How to monitor a Data Warehouse for ClickHouse® deployment

Scaleway Data Warehouse for ClickHouse® is fully integrated into Cockpit, and allows you to quickly access your logs and metrics. This page explains how to get started with Scaleway Cockpit to monitor your deployments.

Before you start

To complete the actions presented below, you must have:

A Scaleway account logged into the console
Owner status or IAM permissions allowing you to perform actions in the intended Organization
Created a Data Warehouse deployment

How to access the Grafana dashboard

From the Scaleway console Cockpit overview page, click Access Grafana in the top right corner.
From the Scaleway Dashboards panel, select:
- Data Warehouse for ClickHouse® to access the logs and metrics of your deployments.

You are directed to the selected dashboard. You can use the filters at the top of the page to refine the displayed information.

Note

You can also access the logs and metrics from the console via the Metrics tab of a deployment.

Available metrics

The following metrics are available for each node to monitor your Data Warehouse deployments:

Number of provisioned CPUs
Current CPU usage
Amount of provisioned memory (RAM)
Current memory usage
Number of connections to the client
Object Storage usage
Block Storage usage
Block Storage read and write throughput
Events (ClickHouse® native logs)
