Changelog

  • Generative APIs

    Changed

Llama 3.3 70B maximum context update

Llama 3.3 70B maximum context is now reduced to 100k tokens (from 130k tokens previously). This update will improve average throughput and time to first token. Managed Inference can still be used to support context lengths of 130k tokens.

  • Kubernetes

    Added

Kubernetes Kapsule and Kosmos now support custom security groups

Starting now, users can provide a security group ID for their existing security groups when creating a Kapsule pool. If no security group ID is provided, the pool will use a default preconfigured security group named Kapsule default security group, which is shared among all Kapsule pools in the same zone. The older behavior of creating a separate security group for each zone where the cluster had at least one pool has been discontinued.

  • Kubernetes

    Removed

End of support for Kubernetes versions 1.27, 1.28, and 1.29

From April 7, 2025, clusters using Kubernetes versions 1.27, 1.28, and 1.29 will be automatically upgraded to Kubernetes version 1.30.
