How to manage image privacy settings

Reviewed on 29 May 2023 • Published on 25 February 2019

The image privacy policy specifies whether everyone is granted access to pull the image or not.

Security & Identity (IAM):

You may need certain IAM permissions to carry out some actions described on this page. This means:

  • you are the Owner of the Scaleway Organization in which the actions will be carried out, or
  • you are an IAM user of the Organization, with a policy granting you the necessary permission sets
Requirements:
  1. Click Container Registry in the Containers section of the Scaleway console side menu. The Container Registry namespaces dashboard displays.
  2. Click the namespace’s name to list its images.
  3. Click «See more Icon» next to the container image name, then click Privacy policy in the pop-up menu.
  4. Select the new image privacy policy to apply. The policy can either be Public, Private or Inheritance from namespace policy.
  5. Click Update privacy policy to set the policy.
