Scaleway’s Domains and DNS trade feature allows you to edit your contact information for an internal domain, and update your data from the Scaleway console.

Before you start

To complete the actions presented below, you must have:

  • A Scaleway account logged into the console
  • Entered your credit card information on your account
  • Registered at least one internal domain with Scaleway Domains and DNS
  • Owner status of the Organization in which the actions will be performed, or be an IAM user with the necessary permissions
Important

The Domains and DNS trade feature allows you to only edit the registrant contact information of an internal domain (to correct typing errors, for example), or information such as a company name, or a SIRET number.

  1. Click Domains and DNS in the Network section of the Scaleway console side menu. The Domains and DNS dashboard with the list of your domains displays.
  2. Click the internal domain you want to edit. The domain’s Overview tab displays.
  3. Click the Contacts tab. Your domain’s registrant, technical, and administrative contacts display.
  4. Click Trade domain.
  5. Edit your information as you wish.
  6. Tick the box to confirm that you understand you will be debited the price displayed for the trade.
  7. Click Initiate trade.
  8. You will receive an email with instructions to validate or refuse the edits you have made.
