How to create a Mailbox domain

Before you start

To complete the actions presented below, you must have:

• A Scaleway account logged into the console
• Owner status or IAM permissions allowing you to perform actions in the intended Organization

Add a Mailbox domain

1. Click Mailbox in the Domains & Web Hosting section of the console side menu. The list of your domains displays.
2. Click + Create an email account (or + Add new email account if you already have domains in your project). The Mailbox creation wizard displays.
3. Select whether to use a Scaleway domain or a domain external to Scaleway. Follow the next steps according to your choice.
4. Select the subscription plan.
5. Check the estimated cost summary, then click Continue to setup. The email account creation window is displayed.

Add email accounts

The email account creation window is displayed during the creation of a Mailbox domain or when clicking Add email account from a Mailbox domain.

1. Create your email accounts:
   1. Enter the email prefix.
   2. Enter a password or click the magic wand button to autogenerate a strong password.
   3. Click Add.
2. If needed, click Add another email account and repeat the previous steps.
3. Check the estimated cost summary, then click Create email account(s).

Access Webmail

1. In the Email accounts tab, click Access Webmail to open the email service application in a new browser tab.
2. Enter your full email address and password to access your Mailbox.
