Scaleway Documentation

The Scaleway console now supports passkey (WebAuthn) authentication. If your passkey supports user verification, it acts as a passwordless login method, combining both authentication factors into a single gesture. Otherwise, it acts as a second factor alongside your password.

Passkeys are currently available for account Owners only, not IAM Members.

Effective October 1st, 2026, support for several operating systems will be officially deprecated because they have reached their End of Life (EOL).

The following are the affected OS versions and their EOL dates:

• Ubuntu 20.04: EOL May 2025
• Debian 10: EOL June 2024
• Debian 11: EOL August 2026
• Proxmox 7: EOL July 2024
• Proxmox 8: EOL August 2026
• CentOS 7: EOL June 2024
• Windows Server 2019: EOL September 2024

Scaleway recommends upgrading your infrastructure to supported OS versions ahead of the deadline to ensure continued security and system stability.

Breaking

• Removed parameter replace on DeleteNode route, the route ReplaceNode should be used instead.

Features

• ReplaceNode route is not deprecated anymore.
• Cloud-controller manager version is bumped to 0.36.2.

Fixes

• The values of the min_size and max_size fields are now pinned to target_size in the case of pools without autoscaling.
• target_size will always be within min_size - max_size range in the case of pools with autoscaling.
