How to create an account

Scaleway is a complete cloud ecosystem, offering a single way for you to create, deploy and scale your infrastructure in the cloud. Create your Scaleway account to gain access to the Scaleway console and Scaleway API, and deploy our products and services with ease.

How to create an account

Click Sign Up in the upper right corner of the page. You are redirected to the account creation page.
Select an account type (Corporate, Startup, Consultant/Freelancer, or Personal project).
Select a sign-up method, and follow the corresponding steps below.

Add your phone number

Note

This step is not mandatory for users with the Personal project account type.

Enter your phone number and click Send code.
Enter the 6-digit code you received on your phone number.
Click Verify phone number.

Add your billing information

Fill out the required fields, then click Add billing address. This address will be used in your invoices.

Note

You can click Add later to enter your billing information at a later time, and directly access your Organization dashboard in the Scaleway console. However, you will need to add a valid credit card to order Scaleway resources.

Add your payment method

Enter your credit card information, then click Add payment method. We will send you an authorization charge of €1, which will be automatically reimbursed within two days. A 3D Secure validation is initiated. Depending on your bank, you may be asked to enter a code received by SMS or to confirm via an application on your smartphone. Note that virtual prepaid cards are not accepted as a payment method.
