How to delete a key

Before you start

To complete the actions presented below, you must have:

• A Scaleway account logged into the console
• Owner status or IAM permissions allowing you to perform actions in the intended Organization
• Created a key

1. Click IPFS Naming in the Labs section of the Scaleway console side menu. The IPFS Naming section displays a list of your records.
2. Click the resource name to access the record information page.
3. Click Delete under the Delete section of the page. A pop-up asks you to confirm the action.
4. Type DELETE to confirm.
   Important

   This action is irreversible and will permanently delete the key and all its associated names.

5. Click Delete name. You are returned to the list of your names, where the name you deleted no longer appears.
